Terms of Use

These conditions apply to every visit, search, and use of content on Rockingham County Criminal History. By continuing to use the site, a visitor accepts them. Anyone who does not agree should stop using the service.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website is not connected with any government body or consumer reporting agency. Neither it nor its advertising partners provides a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other FCRA-regulated decisions. It exists to identify official record resources in Rockingham County, North Carolina.

1. What This Website Is

This is an independent reference. It does not hold official records, run official checks, or file a request for a visitor. It points to Rockingham County Civil Process & Records, North Carolina courts, the SBI Criminal Information and Identification Section, NCDAC, and the North Carolina Sex Offender and Public Protection Registry, along with outside search tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

A visitor agrees not to violate law, threaten or harass a person, use content for an FCRA-regulated decision, enter systems without authorization, operate bots or scrapers against the pages, or interfere with another person's access.

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Content from this site or a linked tool may not be used to stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or unlawfully discriminate. North Carolina registry information is intended for public safety awareness. Misuse against a registrant or household may lead to criminal prosecution under the state's registration laws.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

No consumer report, credit report, or screening report is produced here. A visitor must not use site or partner data to make credit, employment, housing, insurance, licensing, benefit, or any other decision governed by the FCRA. An official SBI or clerk record is still not a substitute for an FCRA-compliant process when federal law applies.

5. No Legal Advice

General explanations about Rockingham County records are not legal advice and do not decide how a charge, warrant, conviction, or expunction law applies. Advice must come from a licensed North Carolina attorney.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are supplied "as is." Accuracy, completeness, timeliness, uninterrupted access, security, and partner search results are not guaranteed. Records can be filed, corrected, dismissed, expunged, or updated after publication. Only the originating court or agency can confirm current status.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

External government pages and private services control their own content, availability, fees, terms, and privacy rules. We are not responsible for an outside site merely because a link appears here.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Rockingham County Criminal History or the applicable content owner. Copying, distribution, modification, or derivative use requires prior written permission unless law provides otherwise.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this site, reliance on its content, or use of an outside service reached through it.

10. Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend and hold the site harmless from claims, demands, actions, fees, and costs caused by that visitor's use or breach of these terms.

11. Governing Law

North Carolina law governs these terms. A dispute concerning site use must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in North Carolina.

12. Changes to These Terms

Revised terms may be posted when practices or obligations change. They take effect when published on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be restricted or ended at any time and without prior notice, including when use threatens the site or violates these terms.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remain effective. The affected provision will be limited only as much as required.

15. Questions

Questions about these terms may be directed through the Contact page.
